Ahh, I'm nearly done with Piece of My Heart - just some links plus I have to make link to me buttons, too. Yay! I also had some ideas for an Anya/Giles fanlisting assuming that no one ever actually opens the supposed upcoming one. Fanlistings certainly seem like a better idea than the mini-shrines that I was going to open under Couplet. That way, I can always add extras to it. I'm going to finish Piece of My Heart and work some on Metamorphosis. I'll e-mail the people at Fanlistings.net in a couple of weeks.

Woohoo! Sarafu.com is coming along swimmingly. I finally figured out the pop-up question and my frames actually look relatively decent. Thanks, Emrys - your code for pop-ups helped me immensely. Now, all I have to do is start working on the actual content. I did put up a guestbook though to begin with.

Wow, I haven't been here in a week. Anyway, I've been cataloging my stuff for Metamorphosis mostly. I've set a goal to finish Piece of My Heart by next Tuesday. I don't know how easily it'll happen, but I will find a way. :) Anyway, I also joined Pacific Northwest Blogs since I do blog in Spokane.

So yesterday, I got a lot accomplished. The design for Metamorphosis is completed and can be found here. So next on my agenda: design a gateway site for all the sites within sarafu.com. It's very similar to Pucker-up.net because Emrys is a fabulous designer and quite a bit of my inspiration comes from her. My only real problem is that I can't make the design in my head come out the right way. Frames aren't working at all, but I don't want to do another table layout. The name of the site is going to be Piece of My Heart (named for a song sung by Janis Joplin and covered later by Faith Hill) - the first layout is going to be Faith Hill, too.

I think that I've decided that Metamorphosis will be the first section to be re-built. I'm almost dreading Who Needs Pictures? That is so going to be the hardest to do. The rest of the site is going to be small (emphasis on small) shrines. But Who Need Pictures is going to be a giant pain in the butt because I have to type up all of the stories I have written everywhere. I want to include the unfinished stuff as much as the finished stuff. And I must have thousands of pages written on the section. Anyway, I think my goal this summer will be to rebuild Metamorphosis and to do Pretty Strange Business. Who Need Pictures? will be my goal for the school year interspersed with additional shrines.

I stole the tag board idea from Emrys and Moonpuff. It'll give people a chance to give me feedback on design ideas, thoughts, etc. Plus, I keep filling up their tag boards (bad Sarah).

So lately, I've been in a Harry Potter frame of mind. Jusk ask Moonpuff. I'm pretty sure half of what I've said to her lately has been Harry Potter-oriented. To be fair, my fascination with Ron/Hermione is increasing on a daily basis so of course, it's what I talk about. The first part of my website is going to be a small shrine to Ron/Hermione (Pretty Strange Business). The quote comes from Ray Bradbury and says, ". . . sooner or later we fall in love and that is a pretty strange business, too, another wonderful, awful, sometimes unbelievable business."

In another news, I bought a domain because sarafu.com was finally available. There's nothing there yet, but the beginnings of PSB. I'd like to rebuild Metamorphosis and to actually start on Who Needs Pictures?, but I'm taking it one step at a time. I'm thinking of poking the couple shrines into a subsection named Couplet (from an Angel episode).

I'm also considering trying to find a fanartist who would be willing to trade fanart or graphic help for free hosting. It would be nothing too elaborate for trade, but I suck at the graphics and certainly could never draw any kind of art.
